To address this critical area of concern for the Muslim youth, and one which is more topical than ever before, Nahda invites all young brothers to what should be a fantastic and informative night including a talk and discussion… because remember: YOU could be next.

With the grace of Allah (Swt) Nahda and Ansar successfully held the anticipated event and exhibition on the Qur’an entitled “Rise for the Qur’an”. The event consisted of three talks and a QNA session, as well as an exhibition that was enjoyed by attendees before and after the talks, showcasing the Qur’an through the history and some of the attacks that have taken place on the Qur’an and its concepts.

Qur’an event and exhibition open to all; free entry

The team behind Nahda and Ansar present a special event to start the year – open to all brothers and sisters – addressing one of the most important issues confronting the Muslim ummah today: the attacks on the book of Allah and the need to be steadfast upon the truth that is contained within it. Why is this book the miraculous truth, why is it under attack, and what should be the response of all Muslims, young and old?

7 PM; DAR AL ARQAM DA’WAH CENTER (29 HALDON STREET, OPPOSITE JASMINE’S)

For the last time, Nahda will be held at the Dar Al Arqam Da’wah center, insha Allah. In the weeks/months following, we will insha Allah be moving to a new and better location, along with other exciting changes in the works.

This week’s Nahda addresses one of the most current issues given we are in the school and uni holidays period: Are we allowed to celebrate these holidays of the kuffar? Whats the Islamic take?
