Ansar 28/3- Al Wala’ Al Bara’ – Love & Hate for Allah’s Sake
Assalaamu’alaikum dear sisters!

Inviting you all to an Ansar gathering this
Sunday 28th March at 12PM-2PM, at 29 Haldon St Lakemba.
Continuing on with the theme of ‘True Love’ in Islam the topic for this week will be:
Al Wala’ wal Bara’ – Love & Hate for Allah’s Sake
This Islamic concept cannot be simply defined or translated as “love” for the Sake of Allah or “hate” for the Sake of Allah; it is more detailed than this. It is indeed a deep part of our belief in Allah SWT and our quest in life to seek His SWT pleasure & earn a place in Jannah.So that when Allah SWT outlines for us in the Qur’an of those things which bring us closer to Him & are pleasing to Him, we hasten ourselves to it; showing loyalty and eagerness. And that when Allah SWT tells us to forbid the evil & show distance & disgust to disbelief, we are quick to do so.
InshaAllah we will discuss this & more at our next Ansar. And yes, we’ll have plenty of group activity and brainstorm practical ways to help each other out & encourage us to do the good actions which bring us closer to our Creator SWT.
