A hugely successful fortnightly event held, Alhamdulillah, as a precursor to the landmark “Role of the Muslim youth” event.
Nahda held its regular Fortnightly saturday night gathering (called the Nahda night) on the eve of what promises to be, insha Allah ta’ala, a big day for Muslim youth in Sydney. As many will know, Sunday is the day that the momentous “Role of the Muslim youth” event will be held.
This particular “Nahda night” was attended by close to 70 brothers who not only witnessed the culmination to br Firdaus Zein’s epic Battle of Yarmuk presentation, but were also given the chance to have their say in the lead up to the Sunday event. After the main feature talk of the night delivered by br. Firdaus, the brothers were split into four groups, each of whom were given the chance to have their say on four topics related to the Sunday event: Ilm (knowledge), identity, our Ummah, da’wah. Two speakers from each group then delivered their group’s findings, in what was an interesting discussion to say the least!
The brothers present also saw the trailer for the event, and the excitement among all regarding Sunday’s event was evident. Insha Allah this Nahda night’s success is, by Allah’s leave, just a sign of things to come in less than 24 hours! May Allah swt grant the upcoming event all success. Ameen.
