Continuing where we left off, Br. Firdaus will further explore one of the greatest battles in the history of Islam. With the aid of a detailed presentation, you’ll be captivated by the ingenious military strategies used by the Muslims and the stories of the great Sahabas who fought in the Battle of Yarmouk. Whether you attended the last Nahda Night or not, this is surely one you do not want to miss!

Lead up Group Discussion/Activities to Roles of the Muslim Youth Event
Considering that the following day will be the huge Nahda Event on the Role of the Muslim Youth in the West, we’d like to hand the mic over to you and get everyone involved in group discussions regarding the theme. We want to hear your input and thoughts on issues surrounding the Muslim youth in our context and what you think the role of the Muslim youth is.

As exciting as the Sunday event is, let’s not forget about the usual Nahda gatherings.
I’m personally very much looking forward to this Nahda, especially the Battle of Yarmouk Part II, The first one was brilliant
And let’s all just remember that Nahda began with these types of fortnightly gatherings, and only through them could it grow enough, Alhamdulillah, to be able to host an event (along with Ansar ofcourse, and all the other affiliated groups/MSAs) that is so exciting.

Cordoba was a symbol in the medieval era. One of peace and multiculturalism. Not only were non-muslims allowed to practice as they pleased, they were also protected. One of the Golden Ages of jewish thought occurred during the Andalusian period. I’d like to see that in medieval “christian” europe. Jews so much preferred muslim rule to Christians that they opened Toledo’s gates to allow in the Muslim armies. Would they do that it Cordoba’s muslims preached hate and intolerance

Hah! You want to talk about controversy? Tila Tequila was born in Singapore. Her family quickly emigrated to a few places then eventually ended up moving to a small town in Texas. The fact that she is ending up with a sex tape is no surprise to me. That girl is crazy, but you gotta love her. She keeps the attention coming.

Hahaha that’s not drama. This is. This girl takes the drama cake. I don’t know what everyone is griping about. I am really shocked about her sex tape though. Tila Tequila is just trying to find her true identity even if it isn’t a very ideal one. Luckily, some good friends Tila… More had outside of the gang helped turn her life around and she fled to New York. When Tila was 18, her first big break came. She was offered a chance to model nude for a magazine. She did a test shoot and was later moved to Southern California. Soon, she became the first Asian Cyber Girl of the month. It’s no surprise to me that she is stuck in some controversy over a sex tape. She does love the attention.
